This Cookie Policy applies to main Consumer Fraud Awareness ("CFA", "we", "us" or "our") web cookies and similar technologies used across our websites and applications, including cfa.example. A cookie may be set directly by CFA ("first-party cookie"), or by an authorised partner who provides services or tools to the Platform ("third-party cookie").

Cookies may also help us recognise you individually by their name or character, match advertising preferences, and understand references information may contribute when they identify or can reasonably be linked to an individual.

Why CFA Uses Cookies

CFA uses cookies and similar technologies across the platform to:

· understand how visitors arrive, browse and respond to platform-submitted media
· remember language, region, content and accessibility preferences
· measure activity, statistics, errors and feature performance
· understand and support security features and policies
· contribute to personalised campaigns where permitted
· support data analytics to improve platform experience and activity

We will not use optional cross-integration for community affiliated cookies without your approval, the reason for this being derived from consent where required.

CFA's cookie preference tool allows optional categories to be accepted or rejected separately. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the tool because the Platform must operate and any default settings.

Developer deployment check: Replacing this table often relies with the exact cookie names, provider references and durations listed above may need refreshing in CFA's latest versions. Tools like Google Analytics, Meta and similar third-party advertising tool names at the providers may vary where they are locally formatted.

Third-Party Cookies and Services

CFA uses external providers for security, authentication, analytics, payments, performance and marketing. These may set their own cookies subject to their policies. CFA does not directly control third-party cookie behaviour and they will apply their cookie notices via the Platform once in reference with consent management before they are used.

Third party integration categories include:

· visual landing tools, delivery, security authentication providers, payments, performance, partnerships and analytics
· fraud and misuse detection tools and trust protection
· review submission and campaign management tools
· embedded partner widgets such as CFA trust and security
· campaign performance and retargeting systems

Independent third-party consent may remain blocked until the relevant optional category is accepted. Where restricted CFA may display a placeholder allowing the user to activate individual functionality.

Consent and Choices

When you first visit CFA, a cookie consent dialogue or preference centre will appear. You can accept all categories, select only required categories, or configure your choices in full.

Your preference choices may be stored so that:

· your initial choices are respected on your return visits
· you can update or revisit choices at any time
· category restrictions remain in effect across Platform features
· a log is kept of your consent decision for compliance

Browser and Device Controls

Your browser allows you to enable, block or delete cookies through its privacy or security settings. You may also have additional options through your device or operating system. You may also control:

· In-browser third-party cookie blocking in most browsers and browser extensions
· Privacy modes may block cookies in most browsers. Your preferences may not apply if using this feature.
· Incognito or private browsing sessions may block cookies in some browsers. Your preferences may not apply in these browsing modes.
· Browser operating system may provide additional controls for streamlining storefront permissions and appropriate settings.

Deleting cookies will remove your stored cookies and may disable security features across other Platform accounts.

Section 10

Session Cookies, Persistent Cookies and Duration

Session cookies remain active when you create the session. They expire and are not stored longer-term once the browser is closed and typically remain active for up to 30 minutes in time.

Persistent cookies may last beyond a browser session for between 30 days and up to 13 months for analytics. The browser remembers the cookie for a period beyond your session across CFA Platform features.

A cookie set when the previous session starts to expire, when it is set to expire, or when it reaches the point in time. CFA regularly checks our cookies on a formal review basis against our published policy. A cookie set on the device will expire at either the time the previous session ends, dates expire, at a point at time the previous session ends or after active activity dates expire.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals

We update this Cookie Policy when needed to reflect cookie changes on the Platform. "Platform Features" may require changes to the way cookies operate when features are refreshed.

Where material changes are planned, CFA will notify users through the Platform or other communication channels. The "Last updated" field at the top of this Policy represents when the most recent version was published. Continued use of the Platform following a material change constitutes your acceptance of that change unless consent is required for different categories.
